Open top box dieline (FEFCO 0200)

An open top box (FEFCO 0200) has bottom flaps only and is open at the top, for trays, bins and stock boxes. Set any inside size within our safe range for the style and check it in 3D.

Every design exports as a spec pack your printer can quote from: layered dieline, 3D renders, spec sheet and prepress report.

Then pick Open top under Style.

Open top box in white board with a red printed side panel.

How to read this dieline

The line types on this dieline, and what each one means.

Cut line

The outside edge of the pack. Anything past this line is trimmed off.

Fold line

Where the board or film folds. Keep text and logos a few millimetres away so they do not land on a crease.

Bleed

Extend background colours and images to this line so no white edge shows if the cut shifts.

Safe area

Keep text, barcodes and logos inside this line. 3 to 5 mm inside the cut is a common starting point.

Before you design

The open edge

With no top flaps, the top of each side panel is a cut edge and the inside shows from above. Keep text and barcodes clear of that edge, and check the open box in 3D.
