Burger box template (clamshell)
A burger box is a tapered clamshell with an angled lid and a tongue that locks it shut. Packaroo has burger, snack and lunch box sizes, or set your own inside size and check it in 3D.
Every design exports as a spec pack your printer can quote from: layered dieline, 3D renders, spec sheet and prepress report.

How to read this dieline
The line types on this dieline, and what each one means.
The outside edge of the pack. Anything past this line is trimmed off.
Extend background colours and images to this line so no white edge shows if the cut shifts.
Keep text, barcodes and logos inside this line. 3 to 5 mm inside the cut is a common starting point.
Before you design
The hinge and the tongue
The lid folds over at the back and the tongue locks into the front. Keep logos clear of the hinge fold and the lock slot, and check the closed box in 3D.
Board
The presets use 350 to 400 gsm artboard. For greasy food, ask your supplier about a grease-resistant board.
